You dont need to be doing it every month! If you paint the struts themselves up with some decent quality paint, like engine lacquer or something it'll stop the struts themselves from rusting - if they aren't stainless. As for the threads themselves, wrap them in denso tape, keeps the threads clean and will stick on for ages!!!! I used to clean the springs up and spray them with like an alloy wheel sealant. Just helps stuff from eating them through. Doesnt look great, but you dont see them anyway so dont really matter!

As Vrooooomtsh said, the bottom spring is obviously meant to be compressed, it's only a helper spring. But I'm sure Adam would be aware of this?

Exactly I agree with you, Adam himself admits WD40 has to be used once a month it is not durable enough. ACF50 is the most popular the stuff bikers cover their bikes in over winter time they only need to apply it once! You can actually buy covers for them as well, tape I don't like the idea of it and surely it won't last long. The most popular by far when I thoroughly researched this is using non sticky bike chain grease.

Well iv sorted it out I removed them and got a wire wheel cleaned them up and put loads of grease on them.when I cleaned them up they didn't look to bad the grease I put on the first time must of helped. :)

Just got to sort out the trackin again now which I hate doin :(

well i had a spare spoiler knockin round outside so thought id get it painted as the carbon wrap one was lookin crap

No updates apart from need new coilovers don't no if to stick standards suspension back on for a bit or leave them til end of November also got a vibration on the car thys driving me mad but don't no where it is

Long awaited up date

New coilovers
Winter wheels
4 new tyres

Coilovers will hopefully be on this week aswell as top mounts and bottom arm ball joints :)

Cheers phill I think they look good better after a refurb and they where free was only goin to keep them on as winter wheels but might keep them on all time now

I'm alot more happyer with it now Aimez new coilovers top bearings and top mounts and bottom ball joints have made it alot better the steering feels lighter again after fitting new top bearings the old ones fell apart lol
