alot more than milling down the wheel inner to change the et plus all you do then is remove the adapters and use spacers for the next car

ET -4, to give you an idea, a standard cupra wheel is ET+41, so you'll be out 45mm further than that, before you take into account the extra inch of the wheel, so altogether about 50mm out

They are only 16'' aswell must be wide as chuff?

et is nothing to do with width ! the alloys are just suited for a wide car with a short axle i believe

Haha, bigger ET, further in they sit. ie ET54 sits far in, you add, a 20mm spacer, it brings it 20mm out, so you've now got ET34
As a ROUGH guideling,
- If going 5x100 you want between 25(flush)-40(tuck) and then add spacers to rear to bring them out?
- If going something that needs adapters you want to be 40+ really

I think they're a bit try hard, your current ones look nicer IMO.

Theres a white Mk4 with a set of polished Schmidt wheels (think they are TH's) in the Ultimate Dubs show report and I have to saw they look rather good on the mk4.
