When was it last cleaned? If ever?

I'd give it a clean and see what it's like in 1000 miles. Doesn't look too bad to me tbh

I've certainly not cleaned it ha ha. Not sure whether the last owner would of done either even though it has been well looked after. How do i go about cleaning it then?

A bit of degreaser and a brush then rinse it off. I generally do my whole engine bay with degreaser and a brush, then pressure wash it, let it dry and give everything a coat of aerospace 303 protectant to get it looking nice

Is it safe to pressure wash the engine bay with the electrics? I've always wanted to do this but have been scared incase it damages something. Does the pipe just unclip off?

People always say no, but I've always pressure washed my engines and never had a problem.
Not sure if your pipe is the same as mine but I think it's a clip at the end you photographed, but a jubilee clip at the other end

Alright mate, car is looking great!
Just drove my dads 1.9TDI saab 95 estate with all the family in the car and couldnt believe the power despite the weight! I was laughing at how freakishly fast your ibiza must be in comparison. I definately understand why you changed from the 1.4 now haha. Turbo is just so much better!

Thanks! Well sometimes turbo deisels 'feel' faster than they actually are because they pull quite hard. The Ibiza FR is a quick car, certainly not a fast car though.
