def want a cupra/fr rear for my next big mod.. I was watchin one on ebay, right colour and everything and was outbid by £1 in the last 5 seconds! :( nearly threw my laptop away! lol

It might just be the H4 Hi/low ones that have it. My mate has some H7's in his Golf MK5 and they never had it.

On mine there was little metal rings at the end of two of the wires and these had to be earthed to the car, i got my dad to do it but im sure they had to be bolted to the frame of the car. I'll take a look when i go out for you if you have the rings on yours? :)

don't think mine has those.. just seems to be the two spade connections to fit straight into the bulb connector?

Got my HIDs fitted earlier, easy peasy really, simple plug and play. Fitted the ballasts (slim) into the headlight too so everything is nice and tidy.

Love the look of them, as they aren't bluey looking when on, and have a very OEM feel to them... Nice and white. Need to sort out what bulbs to get for the high beam as the yellow is funny now...


Will get some pics up tomorrow hopefully of how they look.

haha although to be fair, I've been watching eBay like a hawk for a set of HIDs, just kept watchin auctions till the end to see wht pirce i could get. These ones ended late at night so I think that helped some.

On another note, we may have to find a different home for Blanco's white dials... :( they got to 70 on the rev counter, but mine only goes to 60 :( so if anyone knows it will deffo fit their car, they can have them...

Cheers dude, really appreciate it... the wheels were the bigest one by far, everything else has been pretty low cost, but I think what has been done has added to the car, and I don't think it's OTT either... although others may tell me different.

Thanks mate. Im not really fussed on the black roof on the ibiza if i'm bein honest.. Just seems too short and bubbly a car to pull it off i think..

Never actually seen one in real life though so I could be wrong i guess.

Took the HIDs out today, didn't last long! haha. MOT on friday so I'll put dem back in when that's over.

Got a possible update or two coming this week or next hopefully... :clap: nothing major i don't think though. lol got lucky again on one of them! haha
