Thanks bud, I like doing daft things aesthetics-wise :D
I got a 9:57 on a damp track last year with a standard engine. Would be nice to get into the 8-somethings this time round.

Could be obtainable - 8 something?
Plenty on your side: alot changed under your engine bay in a year, plus if the track is dry!? :)

The majority of Readers Rides tends to be Mk1 Leons and Ibizas. All very tidy.

While mine is an FR, I do still find myself checking the local SEAT dealer, just to 'browse' what HOT Leons they have on the forecourt this week... might be tempted if something special comes up.

Infact they do have a K1 (although in Silver) plus a facelift Mk2 Cupra R. But many ££,£££ !.

Have fun this weekend Ape, you should definitely be in the 8's with your mods now :)

Looks great Ape all stickered up enjoy it and spam away with photos when you get back :D

Haha cheers!

Awesome, gutted I'm missing our trip this year to Amsterdam.

Enjoy it mate, LCR looks great

Thanks all,

Just got back after a 13 hour trek home.

Incredible 6 days and all back safe and sound in 1 piece. Turns out that some porsches ain't that fast :cartman:

My best lap of the trip was an 8:50:766 BtoG, if they weren't replacing Armco and if there wasn't as much traffic on there I could have got close to the 8:40:000 mark but nevermind, wasn't a bad time I don't think.

Brakes were fantastic, tyres were fantastic, handling setup was spot on, engine performed well. Passenger remained coherent. Two main things I need are an oil cooler and a LSD.

Pics and vids will be up soon(ish)... I took hours and hours of footage, and over a thousand photos :D

Pleased you had a great time and you all came back in one piece. Impressive time too, you should be very proud of that... i look forward to seeing the pictures and videos. :)

Haha cheers all,

The Wavetrac and GB refurb is already being saved for, unfortunately the 'Ring is calling again and I may be going out there in September again!! If so then the Wavetrac will have to wait.

I'm in a proper sulk this morning, really want to be back there! Unpacking is not fun. Will get through the pictures and vids later too :)

Honestly, don't do it. You WILL enjoy your car much much more with the diff.
Get it done then save big time for a proper trip to the ring next year.
I might manage to accompany you next year too :D
