Reading up there on 8 inch wheels, i currently run 8 inch all round and rears are et25. Used to run 8.5 inch on the rear at et20 with 205 tyres when i had the porka wheels on the white one though, couldnt have anyone in the back though and over long journeys with lots of fuel youd get rubber deposits on the arch lol

Well currently i have no issues on 8s at the back 195 wheels and ET 25 thankfully, just thinking maybe just stick with these and get some nice stance going but think 40mm adaptors could cause problems, not too sure though and dont want to fork out the money for it to go wrong :( wish the D90s didnt have such a high offset!

Just read the thread and has been very interesting and learnt a few things too :) car looks great on the d90s! what sort of adaptors are u running and where can i get hold of some?

I have only just got my red sportrider last week so if your wheels are still for sale in a few weeks time i will definately be interested! just need to sort the 4x4 stance out before i do anything!

Hi mate, I am running 30mm adaptors all round, not sure on the make as didn't check when i put them on (bought them with the wheels). You can get hold of them on ebay, on ed38, or on wheel wh0res, best ones I've heard are FK, H+R and hubcentric i think but dont quote me on that ha :)

ye i know but to me the ibiza suits a 16 alot better because of the size of the car in general. Its just a personal preferance. I have been looking through the forum and in all fairness there are alot of great ibizas with great stance on 17s so maybe i will change my mind

just a sneaky pic of the stance i am going for with my D90s. should have them on by saturday! decided that silver was the best colour in the end after about 4 different colour choices including lime green lol!

i ended up getting a 35mm adapter and then a 5mm spacer in between the hub n adapter. was so much cheaper than the h and r 40mm adapters.

got my d90s on now! running it pretty low but still drivable.

MORE LOWS! haha it looks real good! Maybe i will just get some 10mm spacers for the rear then give a nice stance, really thinking of keeping the D90s now and getting them refurbed, but dont want to refurb them then sell them as i need to look after every penny i earn!

i spoke to the boys at awsome gti (where i got my spacers) and they adviced me not to get anything bigger than a 5mm spacer between the adapter. not sure y though!

Have you got longer bolts for the 5mm spacers? As IIRC you dont need to, may have something to do with the stress on the bolts but thats just a wild stab in the dark, maybe just invest in some 5mm then, how much did you get them for if you dont mind me asking

Got back down to Kingston yesterday, plans to do helper springs/cat back system/full detail all being set into place very soon (i know i keep saying this but it is!)

Also went to Scarborough cruise/Fast Car cruise at the weekend while home, was actually suprised at the amount of Leons/Ibizas there, some really nice ones that i havent seen on here!

Im literally right at the beggining at around 8seconds in i think, even get to see my mug!
