It turned upp ok

Tried to skiss where the gauge is going to be. i will move it 1-2mm upp.

Thinking of what is best?
Drilling som holes for the air to come thrue? Or slitz on the sides of the gauge?
I ordered a ABS Plate today so hopefully i can use that one to this?

Hopefully it will come more and bigger updates soon.
just awaiting some parts that is missing

I got my ABS plate today. it wasn't the same finish that i wanted but it will work good anyway. :)

Now i just have to decided what brand of gauges that i will use. before i cut the hole for it.
then do some holes aruond it or slitz one hole on each side and maybe above if the rooms enough.

I'd go for Defi Gauges or maybe TurboSmart. The gauge should look well smart in that vent, I'm still in the process of customising my A-Pillars. I'll let you know how it goes. I still like the option you had of mounting the gauges to the dash with the tape. But, its your car, your rules. Lol.

Thanks! mate! :) yes if i get the right price it is for sale. But would be hard to let it go.
Its my precius and i some work and so has gone in to it..
but also soon there isn't so much more that i can do on it.
Time will tell :)

Superb work mYGeL. Brilliant looking car.

I looked at them Defi gauges before actually. quite expensive. I haven't decided yet what I want. :)

yes i think either the widband Lamda or Exhaust temp will be there. i have a A-pillar ready for 3 gauges. but i have to find some nice place for 2 more gauges.

i will use these gauges. Volt, Oil pressure, Oil Temp, Wideband Lambda, Exhaust temp and boost.

Either i will have them where i have them today or i will modify the plastic on the steering wheel for 2 gauges.
Depends on how hard it would be too get it the right.

A little update also. Forgott the cable so no pics..

But I have recieved a pair of R32 -08 rear brake calipers. :)
Now i have to find some disc for the rear also, that will match the RS6+ discs i will mount on the front togheter with the Brembo 8piston calipers.
'
Then paint them the color of the car..

also thinking about changing color of the car, cant decide what color would suit it and the carboon. :p

I want to know what your girlfriend says when you let her read the first post in this thread... The part where you said you will not do any mods to it.... :D I think she'll pretty much kill you :p

Like the car alot mate! Really good... Definately the best Mk2 Leon I've seen. The only thing I didn't like was the eyelids on the headlights, but I see you got rid of those... Also, I would paint the doorcards in the same color as the rest of the interior if you do the rear of the seats in carbon... Either that or I wouldn't do the rear of the seats in carbon but only the doorcards. I think it wouldn't fit together on both :)...

But yeah... Me likes it alot! :D

haha belive me she would kill me.. She already wants to kill me haha.. :p
at first it was only a few small mods but looking at the car now i realize it went little further then it was planned in the beggining :cartman:

Yes that would be an option to paint them in the cars color im also little afraid it will be to much carbon.. soon i have to decide wich way to go. i hope it will turn out good anyway.

I have the eyelids laying at work cant decid if to use thme or not.

Real fun that you like it. i hope you keep checking in on the progress later . :D

Normally I dont really like kitted cars - But this one is amazing! Looks lovely mate, keep up the good work! :)

A little update with some pictures :)

I have now a set of R32 rear brake calipers. And looking around for some 310x22mm discs that are cross drilled so they will look so much alike the ones i will mount on front. the RS6+ 365x34mm discs.

The calipers. will be painted togheter with the fron ones later in the same color as the car will be..

Heres my my A-pillar pod for 3 52mm gauges. i will use Oem cloth on them when it is completly fitted. :)

now i only have 2 gauges to find a good place to mount them on.
The steeringwheel cover im thinking of building in 2 pods and then paint it black so it looks so much original as possible. just have to figure out a good way to do them.. :)
