It doesn't cos you have all the cables and crap coming out all differently, theres quite allof of differences if you have then both infront of you to compare. If your gonna go through the effort of taking it all out wiring it differently then all back together with tue cover you may aswell just chuck it in the boot and not even have it there. Either was too much effort when it was my car so it stayed as is.

Yep exactly that. Even with the whole box it wont fit. Its due to the fuse arrangement on top of the battery. You would need to relocate/remove this in order to fit it.

Probably easier nocking one up out of a piece of stainless

If the fuses are in the same order, could you just undo them all and swap on to a new one? As the cable are just bolted down? Or is it completely different?

Hmm bad news .. They clean the bay up so much! Looks abit gash with all the fuses showing..
Ordered a cupra handbrake today and carbon'd the gearstick brackets.

Need to find somewhere to paint my wheels asap!

Yes exactly you can get them done really cheap but proper acid dip repair and high temp powder coat is better than spraying IMO (they are/were at the time for me round here thou). They showed me rounf the workshop when I went there shame they didn't kno how to use a phone to stop me driving all the way there twice for nothing thou!( I hit a pot hole and bent the wheel so needed to be heated up bent back re painted and new tyre was not ready 2 times when they said it would be)
Had mine 2 years now and they are showing the signs of tear, cracks from stones hitting them at high speed and stupid sunken man hole cover damaged one of them and in June after nearly two years I was stressed out and rushing parking and curbed one.

Carbon surround looks tidy mate, did you vinyl wrap that yourself?

Get the little red vent handles off the Cupra to match your handbrake too, will look tidy!

Yeah wrapped it all myself mate , Quite enjoy it tbh lol.. Atacking my iphone 4 now
Personally not a fan of the red vents just dont do it for me tbh! Ill probs spray when gloss white at some point
