On the Euro rear light thing, if you're fitting another red one, I'd assume you'll have no reverse light? Is it an MOT fail that it doesn't light up white (I assume it is)? Just wondering because I'm still trying to decide between losing the fog or losing the reverse for mine!

Your allowed to have the reverse light red apparently, according to my brother who does mot'

Think losing reverse light looks better on the red lights and fog light on the cupra ones

the reverse light doesnt get checked atall so you can have no reverse light although personally i wouldnt be without one.

That's the answer then lol! Suppose it's each to their own really after all it will still be there just red and I never ever reverse quickly so I should be fine

not only that the reverse light on the ibiza is crap i installed a modified halogen bulb in mine so i could see the kerb and when i reverse onto my drive i need light otherwise my car would end up wedged between the house and the drive in a 6ft drop.

Just fitted led interior lights from japan! Really bright look good. Pictures later

no i modified a halogen bulb to fit in the standard holder probally not ideal but it has never made any problems i even left in reverse for half hour when i first fitted it to make sure it didnt melt the lense.

if it works and does what u wanted then fair play - with tinted back windows i cannot see anythign at night when trying to reverse lol

Its not a MOT fail. As the reverse light is not a part of the test, as you dopnt need one.

But the plod clould have you for it. Had done my last car like that 5 years and not one bit of truble

Oh well massive punch in the gut recieved today when I found that highest price trade in I can get for my new car is 1500... That's with the car returned completely to standard.

So a little sulky I went blasting round some backroads.
Genuinely love how this car handles and goes (for a 1.4)

Makes selling it even harder :/

Oh, the german light appeared. Broken sent back today.
Arsehole postman bent my pressed plates, trying to ram them through the post box like a ****. And broke the postbox too!

I'm not a happy bunny. Just got to wait a month or so for the new car
