I'm liking the build and very interested in your progress.

Appreciate probably the best handling mod will be an aftermarket LSD but thats too expensive for me right now so would like your comments on the handling mods you have made so far as personally i'm not moving on to stage2 / 2+ until I can get more of my power to the tarmac rather than losing it through wheel spin & hop or just the car feeling unsteady (I know the ditch finder tyres I have at the moment contribute to some of this!)

What are your thoughts on;
Sportlines (assume just springs) ?
Whiteline ALK ?
THS Torque Mounts? (assume these are the ones you have - http://www.thsperformance.co.uk/product/Engine_Torque_Mount_%28Dog_Bone%29_THSFR3MK5-DB)
Powerflex Inner Wishbone bushes (assume you did front and rear?)?

Appreciate they all probably going on (or went on) together so difficult to tell in isolation.

Are you considering front/rear ARB's too?

Sorry for all the questions! - What HPFP did you go with in the end. I have read on these forums that the KMD and Autotech ones are either seizing or failing and that the APR one is the route to take but at 600 quid thats silly surely even if they are bullet proof on the BTCC cars with no reported faults!

Cheers

I have Sportlines, WALK and VF Engineering engine mounts so might be able to help you before Pov comes on. I put on the Sportlines first and must say they made a real difference - the car just felt planted in corners and the body roll was significantly reduced. I then put on engine mounts (side+gearbox) then WALK. The car took on a new more meaningful sound and for me enhanced the driving experience. Running the power i do i still get wheelspin in the first 3 or 4 gears so the diff is a must have option if i want to make the most of my mods.

Excellent advice, will be my next mods as right now just don't feel confident corners, this is my big worry! I'll probably have a look at some bushes too

Cheers for advice

Are you just running the Sportline Springs mate or have you matched them to some new dampers?

Will send you a PM for more detail, but....

My HPFP is a KMD, its worked fine since ive had it, been using it for about 7k now I think. The APR unit is very expensive in the UK but do seem to have less issues, but they arent 100% bulletproof.

Went for the THS mount over the VF engineering and other torque inserts because the THS is actually a propper replacement mount, whilst the others arent really barring the VW racing one which is over double the price.

Why? Because it was a Corsa? Bear in mind it is a completely stripped and lightened track prepared Corsa with 280BHP and NOS.

Yep just because of the corse badge, Knew it was a serious corsa owner when I spotted the plastic windows.

Have some stripped calibra turboed corsas down my way and they are quick. TBH reading the corsa spec I did expect you to loose.
