problem ive got is i dont want the hassle of keep emailing people and people arranging to view etc

if we done what you said, car may still be here for a couple of weeks but at least i know i dont have to waste time talking, arranging and viewing etc........

Yea know what u mean, I would have said the same to be honest myself! Got a mate working on his neighbour to buy the X5 off me, hopefully he wants to see it this week..... and my log book still hasn't come

Watch now you'll sell it and the same week my X5 will go to! I'm very interested but its a shame I can't take it straight out of your hands!

im the new owner..just thaught i would sign up andsay a hello....

im very happy with the car...need a little work though here and there......

all the interior is completely stripped out at the momment....no carpets....giving it all a good clean..then have some recaro's to go in..which will be re-trimmed and air-ride should be going back on in the end..

for some reason it wont unlock now with the key so i ahve no idea how im going to get in the doors...can get thought the boot and drive it though...also need to get all the heater set-up and controls working correctly and then sort out some audio..but i dont want the original radio buttons and things still on the dash..

if door doesn't work from key, open door (from getting in from boot if you have to)
on the side of door is a grommet, take off, undo allen key bolt (i think it was) then take handle off (it slides towards front of car) then have a look at the barrel that locks the doors, might of snapped (common crappy design)

you will enjoy that beast, bet you have showed up some people

would this work as i have the key from the seat ibiza cupra engine under the dash with the reader...but the key i use for the central locking is the original one for the locks and igniation barrel

does my original corboba key program the cars system wen i do the above on the link or does the cars system program my key?...which would mean i could take any key fob and program it to my car(alsong as i could put it in the ignition barrel|)

i got a key fob (not key) as mine was dead, so was off another car
and took 10secs if that to programme it, and works like a charm
