ahh. well go for it then. :happy: i had the same thing with my headlight too. but the guy i got it from was addament it went through its last mot like it. what side is it gone on yours?

is yours one of the early models with cruisecontrol as well i can leave it in any gear foot of all pedals and will not stall and will continue pulling at just under 20mph at 2000rpm lol


any one else have this non optional extra :cartman:

Nah, mine dont have that non optional extra :cartman:.

1st thing with mine was that a couple of weekends ago I fitted a new thermostat housing with new thermostat and coolant sensor. Everything worked fine for 2 weeks then the temp gauge wouldnt move.

2nd thing was my hids, the drivers side hid bulb decided it didnt want to work, sidelight worked and the halogen high beam worked fine, been like that since before xmas, went out into the car tonight, put the lights on and both the hid bulbs were working. :confused: :shrug:

my mates vtr hid do that some time he turns em on of on off etc like 5 times and comes on also flashes highbeam

you know you have a mk2 when u recognise the mk2 you are driving to the other end of the country to buy to use as spares and its boot is full of more spares :)

you know you have the mk2 when you only make it half way to the car at the other end of the country and the spares you need are in the boot of the car you going to collect
