wind deflectors

Was there any impact on the usage of the electric windows or have the scratched the top of the windows at all?

No they seem to be fine. no visible marks on the windows from movement

I have set front and rear on an MK1 though. Still look mint about 8 months on.
Octimex on ebay is a great company based in Germany. Sebastien is a top bloke.

thanks ordered from that shop earlier today. Confusing payments though as it said you had to pay twice, once for the goods, once for the shipping, but it took the full amount in the first payment so I wasn't going back to pay more!

Something lost in translation I think!

They used to make you pay seperately for each part both item then shipping but I also noticed this has changed recently. As long as the payment is the full amount in your paypal invoice then don't worry about it. It was confusing as hell the first time I used them.

Sorry, again bringing up this old thread but im trying to get myself a set of these wind deflectors off the above german ebay store but having a little difficulty, there are 2 sets at different prices but i dont know how to work out whats the front pair and whats the back... anyone help?

no really that hard....


one says for front/2 doors/ 2 parts

other one which is a few quid dearer says 4 parts... 4 windows....

I have followed Threads on wind deflectors, for my previous Ibiza and now for my Leon FR.
Some might think they look great, while they are not to others tastes. Definately a personal touch.

They do mean you can have the window open a fraction even when its raining a bit, and the water wont come in. Also I hear they help decrease fuel consumption, being more streamlined.

Birdy, look great! Mines also a Black FR, and yours has at least made me hover the mouse over the "Buy Now" button.

Main reason i bought them was to stop the water pishin in everytime it was wet and i wanted to open the window slightly etc.

You actually posted to show off your Ride! WOW! That is one VERY sweet motor - probably the best I've seen on these forums for quite some time!

The deflectors do look excellent on yours - and these are the ones at that EBay link?
Do you think the deflectors look great with just the fronts fitted, or does having the rear on as well make the finish look even better??

Also are those 19's you are running too ?
