i did it free but rather than ford laptop i'd just put the serial on a fiesta website and they'd give it

you can prob d/l the programme to work it out somewhere

They should help you without charges, you couldnt know now when your radiocard is gone.
But on the backside of the radiocard there is written,

"The radiocard should be cut out and kept safe, under no circumstance in the car. If the radiocard with the codenumber is lost, go to the Seat dealer and they will help you free of charge."

also says in the manual that the garage may charge you for this as i remember reading it when i required my code.

Bristol Seat didn't charge me for the code. However, when I went in, they couldn't connect to the database before I left for Plymouth. Went to Plymouth Seat and they wanted £15. Ended making do with an mp3 player for 3 weeks until I got back. The young chap in Bristol is very helpful and friendly

This happened to me first time the battery went flat but i fought a good fight and told them that the code should have been filled in in the relevant slot on the PDI as the car would have left the factory with the code written or stuck somewhere, ending up in the STEALER backing down and me getting the code retrieved for free.

This should be done for free by ANY seat dealership!!

Happened to me a few months ago.

Just took my radio manual in which states it will be done for free and got it done.
