Just been lookin at your old thread couldnt find any with the black roof:( Who has your ibiza now does it stil look as good.

I got told viyl gets swirl marks when they put it on did you go for gloss black or matt black.

Lovin the skoda a lad near me has a black one with the same grill as yours looks sweet :D

Its owned by a chap in Dorset/Somerset now, not the guy I originally sold it to but one of his mates... been told its still alive :)

well think im defo doin the roof looks amazin when it goes for its respray havin the strips coloured aswel think imight even get my mirror backs done back red aswel.

Thanks ad lav your pic made my mind up thanks for the info.When you had your roof done did it leave swerl marks or not on the viyl been told it does by the bloke i asked to do it.Also i take it was gloss black

It was gloss black, looked awesome, wasn't on for ages however!

No swirl marks, just glue to get rid of once it was pulled off!

Thanks for all the info mate

I spoke to the lad today he dont seam to intrested in doin it.Might have a word with my mate at work ask him to spray it.

We use some stuff at work to remove glue its called tardis really strong stuff

Get someone else to do it or do it yourself I am sure people on here can give you tips. I personally wouldn't want someone to do it that was trying to avoid the job they might make a bad job of it. As I said Jimski put some on his roof in the summer, think his friend helped he can tell you how to do it and where he got it from.

i might try it my self im crap at doin it i do alot of signs on vans at work they always have bubbles in them.I could do with gettin the dents out the roof befor doin it really might show up more on black my mate said he would do it for round £30 if i help him prep it.

Loving that black roof! I've always wanted one on mine but wasn't sure if it would suit the Beeza, but deffo going to do it at some point now! :)

Gloss black vinyl, if applied correctly will end up with swirl marks.

It will get marked going on, but normal sign writers vinyl (as used by most companies) can't be polished but proper automotive stuff can be, if your gentle.

Picked a rear anti roll bar up last week of andy cheers mate.i got my mate to paint it for me iv also painted the links and u bolts gloss black.Not really tryed it out yet but will be later :D

You will not be disappointed mate. Get it on the stiffest setting too.... Do you think your clamps might be a bit close together? I have mine just beyond the bend.

I was thinking about refurbing mine yellow soon (along with brake calipers)
