Ok so i have a stage 1 LCR with defi guages so im fairly confident they arent lying to me, but ever since getting my car back from the crash repair yard, the boosting on my car is slightly worrying....

Stage 1 custom code should spike at 1.5 bar and hold 1.2/1.3 bar through the rev range...and it did, to the letter, but in the last week it has risen to spike at 1.8 bar!....i booted it up a hill and it was spinning virtualy on the spot at 30mph!....

Is this something to worry about?...of course if it was in anyway really damaging the car would go in limp mode but hasnt.....shall i contact custom code or not?

maf can some times cause this, before it fails,my old ibiza cupra used to hit 23psi.. when the maf started dying it it 26 psi for a while then it got lower and lower until it was full of fault codes...

also n75 may need checking its in the top right of the tip pipe. THIS needs to BE looked at

find someone with a code reader,if no fault shows, i think you should get it booked in where you had the map done. Or even better give them a ring and tell them what its doing.. thats your best bet chap.

Not necessarily. If you are over-boosting that much I'd imagine you are extracting alot more torque, I know when I had an n75 problem I got 315lbft on a RR.. Then think about the limit of stock con-rods. Definitely worth investigating, n75 would be my starting point, the hoses to and from it in particular.

check that your actuator rod has not been adjusted or the nuts are loose. Get a pump and attach it to the actuator, movement should begin at approx 5-6 psi, any more and its been adjusted.
