Cheers fella! The lower profile tyres certainly do make them look alot more mean. The Octavia's come with 205/50/17's I think, whereas mine are 205/40/17. Makes all the difference!
You do have to cut quite a bit away, but not enough to make it flimsy or unsafe. Basically try the bumper on, if it gets stuck, cut it away and just keep going back bit by bit until you get enough clearance.
if you have a look at the Forge website at their fitting guide, IIRC it shows you in pictures which bit needs a trim, which is easily done with a hacksaw
TBH it sounds a severe thing to do, but its a small amount you have to remove

The hardest part is getting the bumper cut under the headlight where the top IC pipe runs....
Then you've got to shape it around the bottom intercooler pipe too as this gets right in the way of the towing eye hole and bumper mounting hole.

True, but I live at home, and my student loan is paying for my car loan lol. It's all a bit backwards really! God knows how I'm going to afford the insurance in March, I may have to wait til the car's paid off in June before I can get insurance lol.
wow lovely example dude. would like those wheels for mine, do they need any spacers (i would look though all the pages but on a slow connecion lol)
They dont need spacers no - but I do have 20mm rear spacers to help space the rear wheels out!

it's kinda fun taking out your stress on the bumper after the annoyance of getting the thing on and off though
(Not half as hard as the LCR bumper mind!!!) Last pics were looking awesome mate
