I have that! :D Is it easy enough to actually disconnect/take off the engine mount?

jack up front end of car on axle stands
remove plastic engine tray (25 torx bit)
the dogbone has one bolt (19mm) holding it to the subframe
at the gearbox end, it has a small bolt fixing it to a black bracket which is fixed to the gearbox with 3 bolts (17/18mm). you'll need to remove these 3 and remove the dogbone and bracket together to get the dogbone out of the subframe;)

4 bolts total ;)

to get the old bush out, the easy way is to feed a hacksaw blade through one of the holes and cut through the plastic outer to release the pressure holding it in and you can literally push it out with your fingers ;)

Might certainly be worth looking into then! I'll have to remember the link is on my thread so I can find the right one when it comes to it!

Your car looks great in those pics Ash! Really need to try and get mine to that standard this weekend.

Cheers Altech! It's a bit dirtier now as I had to go out on slightly wet roads yesterday, but still looks alot better than most cars for this time of year! Will look different by the weekend though as widespread frost and snow is forecast!

Looks good mate.

Mirror finish.

Cheers fella! :D

:gay: Look at you and your tripod!

Do you polish it all by hand? Looks flawless :)

Yer it's all by hand, if you use machine polishers you can soon get through the paint! Done it before in my old job, polished too much in one area and gone through to primer - easily done!

Oh - and tripod is the easiest way to get a clear picture with an SLR. Before I had one, the pictures looked good on the camera, but when blown up they were blurry.
thats one nice looking car. I love the wheels.

Cheers fella - much appreciate it! :)
