Mine ended up having a cracked head, just like my mate's A3, and was replaced under warranty - which nI chose to extend.

I would check for obvious leaks first, as this costs nothing. Maybe some sort of sheet under the car at night. Then, if nothing appears, some sort of radiator sealant is the next cheapest option.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but if there is a crack in the head, you wouldn't see any obvious leak, as it would just disappear? Steam?!

I've put some kitchen roll under the reservoir to see if that catches anything. I'm about 6 months past warranty.. And I cant see any extended warranties being offered to me since the car is mapped and I have a boost gauge fitted. I'm sure they will use that as an excuse.

I'm pretty sure, unfortunately, that Seat won't give you a warranty having not had 1 for 6 months.

If I were you, I'd smack some rad weld in there and see what happens. It costs next to nothing and may sort the problem out.

I'm bloody glad I extended my warranty though, as it would have cost me £6k to repair in the end! Not all coolant loss related, don't worry!

Good news! K-seal has so far worked.

I stuck some in 2 weeks ago and haven't lost any coolant since. It was sitting on min and it took the whole bottle which took it bang on max and it hasn't dropped a bit.

Thanks guys.

I'm gonna empty my cooling system and top back up with g12 and water mixture and add the k seal to it do u think it be okay to leave the expansion cap off while it gets to temperature so it can bleed to
