Jake, this is really nice, and almost exactly what I want to do! I was thinking carbon-wrapped roof though. You mentioned a carbon-wrap on the rear spoiler too? Is that still in the pipeline? I'd be very interested in how it goes so I know whether to bother with mine or not.
Rochdale is a bit of a trek for me at 90 miles, but I would certainly consider you guys when it comes time for the respray. In the mean time, I just need to fix the marks in the existing paintwork.
One other question; my plan was white car, carbon-wrapped roof and spoiler, and black-chrome Mk4 R32 alloys. What are your thoughts on the black-chrome wheels? Do you do them?

the bumper is the standard cupra r rear. its just been smoothed out completely, a pain if i stick it in a ditch head first lol.
the spoiler i decided to do black, as i used the carbon film for the black out strips. the stuff is £60per meter inc del +vat, so not cheap, so not sure on the price of a roof haha
the wheels we dont do, not sure who does the shadow chrome type of stuff but presume its a powder coat varient.

A guy on my bike forum had his wheels done. He says it was painted. These are the results (I know they look better in the flesh)

alsa corp in america does a chrome, and shadow chrome, we used to sell it but its supper fiddly to use and expensive
Shame. It's definitely the way I want to go with mine, mainly because it doesn't seem to be done very often. Apart from that, yours looks like the car to aspire to for me, which is high praise

todays final update,
fitted skirts, fitted the rear bumper.
sorted the wiring for the popper just need to fit the actual popper itself,

had it made up by a mte who does graphic for cars,

back box is still there. just cut the tip right back, silver and black always looks good, and the wheels are 18's
