Following on from the Mk3 Ibiza's thread, how low are the mk2 boys sitting and on what rimmage size, coilover or spring set ups?

*measure from floor to wheelarch through the middle of your centre cap*

mine ... sat at the moment at 560mm front 590mm rear on a Gmax Spring/shock setup , running at the moment on 15" BBS Ra's, but soon be changing to Borbet A's (again 15's) and possibly a coilover set

So........... lets see ya :D

On my 1.9tdi on standard shocks + springs 640mm Front and 630mm Rear. 185/60/14 tyres so thats 577.6mm rolling radius on the wheels.

as i am really sad i've stuck it in a spreadsheet to see what differences are from tyres to arch height etc

interesting that the tdi + 8v both standard have the same ride height with different wheel sizes

be good to add some more on there

theres only 3.5mm difference in wheel radius between 8v and the tdi though fl@pper thats what will make the heights that similar, My 640 wasn't the most acurately measured in the world so 3.5mm could just be discrepancies in measuring. Plus the sag etc over time. Anyone got a standard height valver?

we'll be needing wheel centre > arch measurements as well then as a more accurate way of measuring drops?

it was interesting as it was so close for a tdi + effectively sports suspension, i knwo we are not talking mm perfert but i'd have thought a cuprs would sit a bit more lower standard

mind you as you say age/sag/use/tread etc can all put it out a little

dont worry about wheel centre measure as i can get the diameter from the tyre size and if i use the same source for each one it will have some form of constant i guess

main thing is to remind DPJ it's time for Brucie !!!

Remember to use wheel radius not diameter when comparing Fl@pper as that is the only thing that affects body height, the diameter would be showing double. But looking at vag cat the ABF and AHU AGG etc all use the same springs, i thought the TDI used the stronger springs and that confirms it. Although the tdi on parkers claims to be a bit lighter than the abf too. But the dampers are different between the petrols and the diesels. Thats where the sportier suspension comes into it.
