I would say its at least £3500 - £4000 over priced. Why not buy a standard Cupra and fit an Aero/K1 kit on it and you will still have a car nearly £3k cheaper.....

Well im chopping in my 09 K1 same spec and 10000 miles and the stealer is giving me 16.5k for it:(

That's heavy depreciation. What are going changing to if you don't mind me asking?

Saying that I paid £16k for my Cupra that had 8700 miles on as an ex-demo back in December '07.

The K1's seem to be in demand, could you not get a better offer?

I am also thinking along those lines, so i will leave it a while and see if the dealer reduces the price to a more realistic level. Cheers everyone!

That is real expensive for the reg, i paid just over 12k last week for a 07 standard cupra, with just over 30k on the clock, u gotta play the dealers game and tell him what you want!

I paid that much for mine when it was essentially brand new (ex-demo that hadn't left the showroom).

Ok, it's not got satnav or xenons (I don't class the K1 kit as being worth any money ;)), but that's way too much imo.

white k1's carry a premium over the rest of the leon cupras but that one above is expensive.

FR TDi! My job has changed and im doing 2500 miles a month. The fuel costs are crippling me :(
Gonna be a sad day but its only a car after all :)

Its thr right move and sensible thing to do. I used to do over 50 miles a day and now I only do 14 miles a day. If I still did between 15k - 20k+ miles per year I would also have bought an FRTDI.

Get it remapped and you still have fun with 200bhp.

Before I bought the Cupra I test drove a Golf GT 170 Diesel and I was very impressed with it. It was a lot nicer to drive than my old BMW 330d!

Good Luck.....

After much thought, i think that i will go for the new facelift Cupra, so where is the best place (i mean cheapest) to get one from, now that it looks like Irfan has gone?

Has a guide, from my local dealer (Stoke Seat) I managed to get £1000 off list anf the PX price for my car that I wanted.

After deciding that i didnt want to get another brand new car, i have had 3 in the last 3 years, i found a 58 plate K1 in white for 16k, no sat nav but it does have bluetooth, and got a decent p/x offer for my Golf, so i bought it and pick it up on Tuesday.
