Temp gauge..

Realised this a week or so ago, my temp gauge only ocassionally goes up..

It moved up to the normal level about 6 days ago - but even on the way to work which is a 35/40min drive on the motorway the temp gauge never goes up to that middle mark (90 is it??) and on the way back from work too, it doesn't even twitch...

This never used to happen before.. only noticed it within the past few weeks..

is a temp sensor the things that turn the fan on and off? or is this something different... hmmm.. hope its not expensive.. thanks for info though

Its the temp sensor ive just had mine changed only cost me £21

hmmm... im thinking that i want to wait till next more to buy a new one running out of money lol... will search ebay n that - will see if there's any on there! will let you all know how it goes.. cheers for the info!

Dont get it from ebay get a real 1 from the deals as only £21

you can get the proper ones off ebay for cheap
get the green one though its ment to lats longer

I was told that for my car that the one I need is eBay item number 180380794309 - the guy said ...

Type this number into eBay search box and it will take you to it.

You can email and check which one you need for your engine of course... there are similar ones cheaper BUT they don't list the 1.4 engine
