Bluetooth unable to connect

Up until yesterday my bluetooth worked perfectly and paired automatically with my phone each time i went into the car, now how ever my phone is telling me its unable to form a connection with it! The phone finds the car ok and attemps to connect but fails each time. Ive tried un-pairing it and starting again, inputting the pass key and everything which it does fine then i selcet automatically pair the devices, when asked to connect now, i say yes but it keeps failing too. Anyone got any ideas for something else to try before i need to go to the dealers?

try removing the battery from your phone for approx 10 mins and then pairing up again to see if this does the trick (apparently does a reset). this is what vodafone advise their customers on the same issue.

i always find that bluetooth is one of those things that either works perfectly or is always causing you grief !

apart from the above which lets face it, is a mighty fine idea and one i would try anyway, maybe a firmware update for your phone would resolve the problem?

most of the updates have fixes for bugs, bluetooth seems to be a common one, it might be that you have been lucky with it working until now.

Hi Rob, posting pictures appears to be beond my limited computer skills, when ordering though i just asked fo the lettering to be the same as id seen in a thread on here (Bored= carbon fiber door sills) and for the color to be as close to chrono yellow as possible for the "leon" and the "FR" to be in its traditional black/red combo and im delighted with the results
