i've found those 40 groove crn disk to eat pads pretty quickly - cheese grater effect!! plain ebc disks with 6 slots machined into them will be kinder on pads; but may not offer the same initial bite.

That's the whole point in grooved/drilled discs. The fact it's not a flat surface, so the pads bite into the disk, stopping the car alot quicker. EBC pads do wear very quick indeed and arent any good really.

That's why I've gone for these pads as they're better designed to be used with more "hardcore" discs.

Please read strugers1 thread and see why his torque is "so low" and please discuss his car in his thread and not in mine!

Ta. :)

sorry ash but i have to say this, my peak torque is at 3980 rpm:p how much torque do you have at nearly 4k rpm???
oh and er my turbo/car is knackered so.......:bleh:
my jabba sport remap had more torque at 1.800rpm but when do you ever use it at that rpm??? my torque is where it counts at 3980 rpm 200 rpm before my max power of 241bhp comes in

Just a quick question, you say your peak torque of 321lbft is at 3980rpm but your peak bhp of 241bhp is at 4180rpm?

A quick calc shows that if you have 321lbft at 3980rpm you would be producing 243.26bhp at that time, so that would actually be your peak bhp as well as peak lbft.

Calc is torque (lbft) x rpm / 5252 = bhp
