if you have a nice new fresh bottle of brake fluid bleed it untill the brake fluid reservoir looks nearly empty but not fully empty fill up with your new stuff and keep bleeding and topping up untill all the bubbles have gone start the furthest away from the reservoir (ie rear right if the reservoir is on the front left) bleeding more at the back to ensure all the old stuff is out.
obviously make your way to the front when your satisfied and finish the closest side to the reservoir.
hope that helps ive probally over answered your question or completly missed the point of your question oh well lol.
really like your new brake colour its good to see somthing different

Right, I phoned CRN today (where I'm getting my brakes from) as I placed the order for brake discs on Friday 21st August and it's now Wednesday 26th and my order was still "pending." So I phoned them up, and to be fair they were really helpful.

Apparently their website isnt sending the orders through to them, it's taking the money from Paypal, but not sending the order form to them. So he said he's going to get the discs made up today and I should have them tomorrow - can't complain at that!

Phoned Backdraft aswell, very friendly, helpful, chatty customer service. Ordered my £143 brake pads :)blink:) and they should be with me in 2 working days! So hopefully, should have it all for the bank holiday weekend so i can fit it all!

Great success! :funk:

your car will soon be stopping as quick as it moves.
what brake pads have you gone for? there well pricey.

Ferodo DS2500's. They a track day pad basically. But can be used on the road no problems. You're just pretty much guaranteed no brake fade, and they'll bite hard from cold. Not that I use the brakes hard, but it's nice to know you've got plenty there for when you do need them. ;)

There fast road pads, Ash.

I gave mine a good test on sat. A mk2 leon cupra managet to get his brakes to fade by the time we got from the meeting point to the RR venue and mine were biting even stronger then when we set off :D

Stopping power is awsome on my setup :)

always worth spending good money on brakes for good results.
looks like you have a fun job for the weekend then.
whats planned next after the brakes then?

After brakes, i want to concentrate on the interior a bit I think. Going to start winding down with mods now......

They're track pads according to websites. The DS's or DC's I think they are are the fast road pads. Ferodo do a standard replacement, then DS or DC performance, then the DS2500's, DS3000's etc which are track pads but different compounds. Or so I thought!

Hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow, that's all I'm waiting on now....

ha ha was a good drive there!!!

glad to see your getting sorted now ash :)

Cheers fella.

I thought that the DS2500's are the fast road pads and the DS3000's are the track pads

I could be barking up the wrong tree then! Wouldnt be the first time! ;)

So did I, but since i have DS2500s I won't argue ;)

car's looking good by the way, cant wait to inspect more thoroughly at edition.

Cheers fella! Hopefully the 312's will be fitted this weekend in time for edition 38, just waiting for the pads to arrive which SHOULD be tomorrow! If not, I will be a bit miffed. :(

Also, noticed my front passenger side coilie has dropped a bit, so need to clean them all up and raise the passenger side front a few mm when doing the brakes. :)
