was about to say chris run a 14 second dead and 0-60 of 6.1 seconds so completely proves that bloke wrong!

Gutted i couldnt have come down today with chris, mega skint, then windscreen cracked. Just sods law for me atm!

how am i wrong diesels arent ever gunna be faster than petrol tho like, sorry the day i see a diesel doing same performance as what alot of people class a true performance car, my mates owns a 2002 BMW M3 softtop then I aint wrong

14 dead is alright but when a stock bmw can do it in mid 13's it aint too good! 6.1 to 60 mph aswell is again ok, but think bmw does it in high 4's low 5's

Your comparing a super car to a normal tdi road car which is modded by the owner to be quick, next min you will be saying diesels aint as fast as a veyron, so therefore are slow. You really need stop slating diesels cause most people on here prob think you are a idiot by now. Sorry to hijack your thread ash, this bloke needs telling

err m3 aint no super car its a normal road going petrol that aint been modded out of factory. so again my orginal post is valid which was a 14 dead is ok over 1/4 but it aint as fast as a normal m3 which as said most people class as a good guide to a fast car on the road thats all i said that it aint that fast whats up with that and then asked if you wanna proove me wrong find a diesel as fast as a m3 and thats it, so as you cant i was right thanks

Sooty on here has run a 14 dead, jabbasport fabia vrs run same time too! plenty more running quick times, just accept the fact your not right. As r1ch85 said, you aint going to last long on here!!

i dnt need a video of a m3 doing that performance as its book figure mate. i posted up a time slip of just one m3 randomly doing it course no video or time slip of this favia or this new one that you just made up, why not mention the 13.5 diesel ibiza before the fabia that only did a 13.6 before lol making it up as you go along mate.

i dnt not like diesels i used to own a golf mk3 tdi and it was slow but good on fuel and never missed a heart beat but get back into the real world and you will find no 13 second diesels and 5 second to 60 cos they cant launch simple.

I made a mistake about the time, the tdi that run 13.5 was a member called t spark, he also got a 5.0 0-60, everyone makes mistakes, just like you are thinking a tdi cant get into the 13's, you are living in dreamworld :w4nk:

i also ran a 0-60 time of 5.7 to 60 and that is in a car with much much less power than an m3.... so i think for what it is its pretty dam fast considering there was .5 of a sec in it

ha ha thanks, that ibiza is fast and assume what that guy was on about why didnt he just show that in 1st place. like i said im not saying they are slow, jsut not a match to normal performance cars like a m3?

Can I just say - what the hell has an M3 got to do with my hybrid Ibiza diesel? The M3 is a performance car. It comes with 363bhp stock out of the factory. How can you even think of comparing it to a small family car that comes with a 130bhp diesel engine as stock!

Who says it's as fast as an M3?! You're making an argument against yourself here fella! The M3 and a PD130 Ibiza cannot be compared!!! You cant even compare a Megane R26 to the Ibiza as it's just a totally different league! An M3 is a performance car - a PD130 is a nippy small family car with a totally different build quality and price tag to go with it!

There was an Ibiza did a 13.5 second quarter mile - and it was a PD130 hybrid. T.Spark I'm sure would back himself up but he's been banned from this forum so can't. If you need proof, you should've been at GTI international where he got that time and won fastest diesel of the day!
