Bilston.
Folks i'm lookign at getting one of these. Pioneer DEH-P600BT

matches teh colour scheme and has the functions i need. However I want to be able to use my current steering wheel controls on the headunit, now I know it says on the website I need additional connectors... but what and where from?!

Any other advice is welcomed.

lol... you know when stupid stuff happens... i'm pulling that face right now... such a doughnut...... cheers deano.

Also... just looking through the chart, how i know which connector? I hazard a guess at CTSST001 as theres two types of connectors.

Also, would a 3rd party adapter do it?

Hello mate, im about to do a similar thing, looking for one for my 2007 Cupra so the steering controls work with it.

By the searches you need;

1) The Connects2 stalk adaptor (link above from Dean0)£40ish
2) The relevant adaptor for the above depending on your chosen brand ie Pioneer, Alpine etc etc £5 ish
3) The head unit itself
4) Aerial adaptor £2ish

I *think* thats pretty much all you need.

Obviously if your using an iPod you'll need a USB cable (just buy one off the bay, even a genuine Apple one is about £7 yet radio manufacturers want us to pay £25 for theirs...!)

Thats it though you may feel you need a aerial booster depends on how the signal is in you area.

With the USB if its anything like the f900 then you will need th over priced Pioneer lead to do the job.
