i was looking for upgrading the breaks on my fr went to the dealers to see how much the ibiza cupra ones where. Not as bad as i thought and dont mind spending the extra money as long as they stop me better then the standards ones..

I really find the brakes on my 20V FR pretty good tbh, maybe its just the extra weight on the diesels? Unless its got uprated pads/discs from previous owner?

if you have re-map or like to drive hard it's a must and takes about an hour total to do both sides. I was ceptical but it does improve thing besides looking better

312mm with OEM Pagid's are very good in a light weight car. Really brakes well now.

The difference on on my Audi (312mm) compared to my old FR and the other half's 1.8T FR is amazing. There is a massive bite that you can feel grabbing hold of the car & slowing it down + taking in to account the fact that the Audi is a lot heavier than a Ibiza speaks volumes too.

Before i lost my Ibiza i acquired a full 312mm set up off here for £200 which is well worth it.

GF had an A3 S-Line (8p) before the FR. I put mk5 GTi brakes on that - the 288's were rubbish on there too and looked lost in the 18's
