400 should be about right, depends how much you squeeze in the tank really, there should be a little black lever inside the fuel filler that if you push down will allow you to put a bit more petrol in.
wow ... for some reason i only been getting just under 300 .. and thats driving sensibly any ideas why ?
i vented mine and did 353 miles on just over 1/2 of a tank , it was loaded to the max with camping gear , my 2 kids and the wife....but mine is a 1.4 sport

Try driving a Cupra, I only get 220-230 miles per tank of V-Power

Just filled up today, 40.23 Litres in 423 Miles on the odometer, the tank wasn't even empty yet.... This about normal for me, last 6 months have been 415, 412, 430, 410, 404, and 426.
That's been achieved using the limp wristed "fairy liquid" Tesco call petrol! (due to the credit crunch or else it would be shell or bp)

I vented my tank on my PD100 and got 175mi before the needle moved of the full mark - Went on to get 560mi when the light came on. That wasn't driving the most frugal'y either!
This driving me nuts.....my car seem to of developed a drinking problem....filled the cupra up with v-power, hit the half way mark lastnight with 100 miles on my trip, never used to be that bad! and if the cars "miles to empty" calculation is correct, my tank will be empty in 80 miles....wouldnt mind if i was gunning it all the time....
Plugged it into a code reader lastnight, and no faults what so ever, going to clean the AIT sensor and the MAF at the weekend and see if that changes anything.....Any other suggestions of what could be causing this? checked under the car lastnight and no visible signs of a leak! Help?
