300bhp lcr is it possible with standard turbo

hi all im new n currently waitin to sell my m3 so i can but a lcr. the question i was askin is, is it possible to have a 300hp lcr without changing the turbo and internals? im new so please forgive me if im sounding silly anyways another thing is there anything that i should look out for when buying a lcr?

internals will be fine but the turbo wont take 300bhp would soon blow if mapped to that

Internals are good for 330-350bhp

hybrid k04 is the easy one to do as it bolts straight on

RS Tuning in Leeds come highly recommended mate, also a site sponsor.

For ~330bhp you want to look at a IHI turbo, GT eliminater kit with WMI or a k04 hybrid with WMI or something like that.

you wont get 330bhp from a hybrid K04, thats at its absolute max, if at all and yet to be proven. Some sponsors on here quote 330bhp from a hybrid k04 but its bull$hit. Technically you MIGHT and thats a big might get 330bhp, but the turbo would not last 5 minutes and probably could never flow that much

if you did, everyone would be doing it..........

GT28RS or IHI is the next if you want around 330bhp

Traction will always be a problem with a front wheel drive car with 250bhp+, its just the nature of the beast.

You wont/shouldn't have any problems with relieability with a IHI or GT28RS aslong as its mapped properly.

anything over 250bhp is difficult to put down through the front wheels, so go figure......

Personally I would go down the GT28RS route, as IHI's are prone to cracking from high EGT's etc if not kept to a sensible level

both good for 330bhp....but price the conversion for at leask 4k...and thats just the turbo and fitting without FMIC, exhaust etc

pricy but good amount of fun i gather. i will proby get the exhaust,FMIC first and then add the turbo. my friend has a remapped k1 that is running around 300hp n thats good in the dry n okish in the wet. mind tourqe steer is fun

fehzaan i've got a hybrid k04 lcr. it hasn't had stage 3 yet but its had all the engine internals uprated. its running around the 290 mark. Mate of mine has got a remapped m3 and the leon pulled away up to 120! he was gutted. Couldn't imagine how fast it would be stage 3. Anyway i was possibly thinking of getting rid of mine due to 100mile a day round trip. figures just don't ad up. Diesel time i'm thinking. Pm me if you're interested. Whats the spec of your m3?

thats a scary thought an lcr pulling away to 120!! mines been remaped too but ive had my mates k1 up my bumper 80 or soo but after that i pull away like a steam train! his k1 is mapped too. but i would love to hav a car that would replace my m3 that could keep up. ps im a newbie so cant pm just yea but would love too hear a little more about your car. color spec all

I've seen a member on here with a modded K1 chase a M3 and make it move out the way at 155

lol i could see that happnind to b honest but the thing you got to remeber about m3 is smg(auto) r crap but 80% are smg. mines a manual with no limiter ii have seen 170mph on the dash with plenty of life left. but i hav just come home after a spin in the k1 and off the light a s5 tryed it on! wot do u predict happend? lol
