they look different from the ones you can buy at the dealers. The pics on your link suggest that they should be stuck in place? The dealer ones are complete replacement rings and clip in properly like the originals

What do the dealer ones look like, are they the chrome version of the front plastic bit on the outer casing of the blower.

Are the dealer ones about £20, would you advise to see how the ones i bought look when stuck on and then maybe get the ones from the dealer.

Yeh I think thats what I'd advise. I had chrome ones from the dealers in my previous Ibiza's. They're pretty much one use items tho, cos when you try to remove them to take them to your next ibiza as I did, the chrome is really easily scratched and starts to flake off.

They're spot on the first time tho :D

Seen as you have already paid for the ebay ones, you may as well give them a go. I think the dealer ones are £20 ish, maybe less, I got mine 2nd hand, but unused.

Thats what i found previous, how hard is it to fit as i have no experience with electrics, would a seat garage fit a glove box light and a boot light or would i have to get the parts and find someone who knows what there doing.

Its pretty easy. All the bits that are listed in that thread fit together nice and easy, one end needs to be earthed, which i did by wrapping the wire round one of the screws in the end of the dash and re tightening it, and the other end needs to be connected to one of the wires in the interior light wiring. I did this by cutting the appropriate wire, and using crimping bits to connect everything back together.

If you don't feel comfortable cutting into the wiring loom then don't do it, I'm sure a dealer would be able to do it for you, just expect to be charged through the nose for it. It took me about 10mins to do mine, but i've done it a couple of times. A dealer will prob charge in 30min, or 1hr increments, so you may be better off getting them to fit a boot light at the same time to get better value :)

Im not comfortable with cutting into the wiring, could do more damage.

Will give my dealer a ring tomorrow and see what they say.
