I dont think a ko3s would last long if it was running a true 240-250 with out WMI, i think they can run 225-235bhp for a safe reliable car. Anyone know what ko3hybrids are REALLY putting out? Some say 260bhp then some say its at the higher end more 280-300bhp? Guess we wont know until some one gets theirs RR'd

ive had my Hybrid roaded, at first i got 276bhp and 292 ft lb,

but know need it roaded again as at awesome gti i got 265bhp and 300 ft lb (in 30 degrees temperature ! ) with it loosing boost after 5k so should see higher now with it holding boost to redline.

I did the same as you peachy. To be honest, it is a good and fairly cheap upgrade to do, but i think your better off going straight to hybrid and making it one step instead of 2, if thats the road you want to go down?

As for how it feels, you can definatly feel the difference in power, ok its not MASSIVE but noticable. When i first got mine fitted and mapped, it makes a much nicer spool up sound, can really hear it whistle. It spools up just as fast as the ko3 and will hold the power until about 5.5k then you still do feel it tail off, but ive already changed gears by that point. It will still lose power like the ko3 does, so dont expect it to pull all the way to the redline

yea i dont want it to crazy as my car is my every day hack, i think for my self ko3s power as im ok with the ko3 the only thing i would change about that is to make it hold abit longer so in my eyes ko3s will be ideal for me

my k03 holds boost quite well boost just under 1.5 bar peak about 20-21psi

but alot must depend on what map you have aswell as i have an amd map and peak power isnt untill 4.5...

I am getting mine RR in Sept at the AMD RR day

doing some logs tonight as I think I have finally sorted out the actuator so will show how well it holds the boost

Does it still hold boost and pull well all the way to the red line if need be Tony?

yes, boosting to 1.4 bar (less with a leon due to 19mm pins and the ibiza having 20mm pins)

holds 1.1bar to around 6900 rpm (16psi)

logs will give a more accurate tale tonight

I was running HB9 T9 with 5.25 added showing 5`s in block 020.

The only problem i had when fitting my high flow manni the first time round was the fact a washer manged to find its way down to the turbine, i still cant understand to this day how the hell it got down there but it did!

Im on my 2nd manifold now and that one has also cracked i belive due to the sound it makes on idle, im picking my spare up tommrow from the welders, see how long that lasts.
