it wont leave the garage untill complete. im aiming to take 'best SEAT' at ed38. if i dont win, it will be a serious SEAT that does! and i wont be happy lol

thats my 2 aims this year, win something at e38 and make it to the british body building finals 2010. got the qulifier in october. how i find time to do all this i do not know

Yes mate, 300bhp out of the box... no boost pipes coming off... no coil packs... and no lag....I am sure there is plenty that will could go wrong... but hey ho.

heres the seat frames that were designed and made by backdraft and I.

using mainly original parts for that oem look

the main idea i like is the way its using the original runners and handle so you really cant tell its aftermarket. cant stand then universal runners

I did a good job on them frames. Look really nice all painted. Only a 5 min job!!!

yea, they are for side mounted but not in the normal way.
you cant see in pics but there are holes in the side of the the frames. nicely done with strengthening inserts welded in.
and its all beautifully TIG welded to a fine standard fit for a king (ME)

they sit a little lower than when the drivers seat is in lowest position.

they are a cheap set of ebay buckets in blue

I did notice where they were going to attach Had to look hard mind you!

How far will these go forward? I'm trying to find some subframes that will go far enough that you can get into the back also. Will probably just end up stripping her out like the last one!

Oh yeh so it is!

I might have to see about getting a custom frame for my passenger side. I have one for my driver side, but it doesn't go very far forward, might have a look at how I can modify it..!

it depends whats stopping it from going forward. are they not standard seats then?

you could try just re-drilling the holes if they are top mounted and move the seat forward on the runners/frame

Well I do have bucket seats as well, not in at the moment though. Will need to have a look at what I can do.

yesterday was a big day for the car. its all coming together nicely.

paints finished apart from rear bumper and interior bits. you seriously wouldnt believe the shine on this car. £1500 worth of laqur but well worth it. its another level.
i have a pic of the car and it sooooooo shiney you cant even tell what colour it is as it looks like a mirror. i may even post it

wheels were fitted and suspension set up is lookin outa this world. one word....LOW!!

seats are fitted and the best things ive EVER sat in.

just had quotes for dash, doorcards and rear seats in leather.

im a happy man right now
