Just thought I should add my two cents to this - there's a lot of misinformation going around on this forum and the smoothed/drilled airbox is one of the worst. Do it if you want noise - but drilling holes sucks air in from the engine bay (which is hotter) and smoothing reduces the turbulence that the airbox was designed to create (as turbulent air cools more). Either way the performance differences will be minor, but just thought you should know...
Sorry for the bad info. Ive noticed that a lot of people on here have smoothed thier air box, personally i went for the induction kit rather than the panel filter as i prefer a bit of grunt. I just thought that since there are a few guides on here and the fact that quite alot of people on here had done it, it must have been a good cheap mod.

Advise getting Dog Bone fitted after remap as you will find your car if you get a map done hopping like mine did.

Had Dog Bone fitted traction was alot better power down to front wheels was 100% but you will find you get vibration untill mount wears in.
