My mate had some done by a mobile company and the finish wasn't very durable, was sprayed rather than powdercoated so they chipped and flakes quickly.
I'd get coilovers sorted first then have your wheels powdercoated

Only one Ive heard really good reports of locally is Laptab down under spaghetti.

Same!!
Though i've had a mate who prepped his wheels himself, and then got them powdercoated for a tenner, and they came out reet good!!

Don't think all Compomotives are the same. Three sets in this house and all pristine condition. Mine are at least 6 years old & not a mark on them, paint is still in factory condition.

As said above theese mobile companys jus spray paint them which isnt very durable. And powdercoating is the way forward so easy to keep them clean etc after they have been done. If you dont want to pay over the odds then bournes in brum charge about £20 a wheel

My passat alloys are powdercoated and the Ibiza's are sprayed and the finish on the Ibiza is much better and when they next to each other you can see the alloys on the passat are a creamy white compared to the Ibiza's shine white.
