turbo ko3s or k04

the best turbo for the 1.8 20vt ibiza?
ko3s or k04?
I wanted to about 220 at most 250cv
accept up suggestions

hi mate do a search on a ko3s hybrid you might be able to get them in portugal, but for 220bhp get a ko3s far more work to do a ko4

in portugal is more easily find a ko4 a hybrid ko3s
but the k04 is also necessary to change the exhaust manifold and down pipe
and the hybrid ko3s not
or am I wrong?

no your right! so go with a ko3s or a ko3s hybrid, otherwise you will have to change the manifold and the downpipe

trust me it wont

I would just go to the hybrid straight away, 280bhp....much more worth it

exhaust manifold is an optional change but well worth doing, and the downpipe needs to be changed for sure as its waaaay too restrictive

manifold and DP are both necessary

DP on the Ibiza cupra's is a big strangle point and will be needed if running more than 220-230bhp

the same with the manifold. These are only rated up to 250bhp from what I have read and will definitely need to be changed as the hybrid runs around 280bhp

technically you can run the hybrid fine on the normal manifold, but the power band would be restricted quite a bit

the k03s is good for upto 240 need full system d/p back and really a fmic aswell...
