im as good with mechanics as a chocolate teapot would be at holding hot water :D

only thing im doing is spraying the bolts to try and help em come off easier! (cars not used all week)

ive got loads on order, brembos, will have new wheels for brembos, forge fmic on order, got a airfilter relocator, but ill do that when i do the fmic so its easier.

my bedroom looks like a storage depot and its doing my birds head in lol!!

lol nice, why the new engine mate?

my forge fmic has been shipped today!!!! yay!!! cant wait lol, how sad you think, but when youve not been able to go above 3000 rpm without waiting for a hose to blow off for the last 2 months youd be excited too :)

not sure how long their delivery takes though? hopefully have it for next weekend!

Ain't even got it out yet going to do it in a couple of weeks when my mate is of work so he can build it for me. I'll try to get some pics but can't promise anything.

I'm no mechanic but its handy having a mate who is and another who builds engines day in day out!

Exhausts are not that hard really just take your time and it will be done in no time, hardest part will be getting the dp on and off i reckon, i'll tell you next week what its like got mine a p34ch3ys to do.

nice intercooler. good luck fitting it.

was shocked when I saw how long the nipple is on the forge tip for the N75...its huge!!
Also try getting a straight coupler in the same color blue as the TIP, should look loads better.

Really making an improvement on the car though. good luck working on it

thanks reuvers :) is there any harm in cutting the n75 nipple down? as its a bit too long really! tight on charge pipe!

never really thought about the coupler but its a very good point i just need a straight coupler so should be easy to find on ebay! will get on that actually as like things to look as good as poss!

i think im slowly getting there. but most importantly im learning to do it all myself (very very slowly) luckily i have some good mates who are willing to lend a hand when needed! :)

yes, there is absolutely no problem cutting the nipple down on the TIP. Measure the piece of the N75 thats going in, and cut it so the nipple is that much longer. That way the plastic piece of the N75 won't be 'inside' the actual TIP.

Yes its an ordinary hose joiner. I forget the MAF size and don;t know the size of your CAI, but easily measured/searched.

shouldn't cost you more than a tenner delivered.

Its always good having people help when you're not great yourself. As long as you're helping with the work you'll learn ;)

think thats how we all got started
