Hi all,had my cupra about a month but it has an aftermarket JVC radio that is really irritating not least cos it won't work with the cd changer (i hate faffing with disks).

Which radio should be in it? Its a Y reg leon 20VT cupra. Then I can get searchin on the bay for one unless anyone has one they wish to flog.

Cheers

ah you're a man of good taste! i've been wanting that stereo for a while now but i cant bring myself to spend that much on a stereo, im more about power these days so £270 is quite a few bhp

I wanted an I-pod connection for the stock Aura... but I got an iPhone... doesnt work :(

Does it definitely not work? Most of the compatibility issues with the iphone 3G and the 2nd gen touch are related to the charging because they use the firewire charging pins in the dock connector which arent used in the 3G or 2nd gen touch, this is quite easy to get around though.

Personally I wouldnt bother with a stock ipod kit though as theres no way of navigating your songs due to no track info, in that case its better to get an aux input and then control the music on the ipod itself
