hi there guy's need abit of help?

been looking at one on edition38 he say's there was only 2 in the uk.

how true is that and any other advise would be helpfull.

They are rare but from what has been said on there and what I have seen on here I think there maybe a few more than 2 but not many. There are literally only a handful of them.

definately buy it, ive seen the adverts from them, there was one with really low mielage going for peanuts, totally standard too. i would have it in the flash if i hadnt spent sooo much money on mine

i saw one of theese the other day but it was the 1.4 the colour is like no other

you have to buy it mate it looks stunning

as for your question (which has been covered loads) look if the waterpump has been changed at the correct mileage. approximately 50K

check for engine management lights.

get yourself a version of vagcom soon as you'll need it.

check if windows work properly. switches and relays are known to fail

then get used to switching several coilpacks every year

and maybe the occasional MAF.

Look up the thread "you know you have an Mk3 when" its a funny read but will give you all (and more) info on the things that are prone to break and annoy the hell out of you ;)
