hi guys, My name's Dion, I'm 16, and ive got a mk4 ibiza 1.2 12v and it's been in the body shop having a full respray and i've bought audi TT wheels and new tyres for it.
I've not got a lot of money to spend on it due to not working (being in school) and spending it all on the wheels and paint.

I've already bought a LCR splitter, being fitted by the body shop!

Sooo.... what are the best cheap/Free mods you've done to your ibiza?

Only one i could think of was de-wipering the rear.

Thanks,

Dion!!

Hi Dion!
Nice to see someone getting into it quite early!
My first car was a MK4 1.2 12V Ibiza SX and their great little cars to learn in but they do make you want to speed!

I cant really think of any "Free" mods as such, but a cheap one is an LCR Splitter. You can get one from the dealer their very cheap £20 I think. I dont know what they look like on the Pre-Facelift models but on the newer ones (Not the brand new Ibizas) they look great!

Piece of advice but I'm sure you already know, dont buy cheap replacement tyres.
I did and suffered from massive amounts of understeer which caused me to crash the car! It was never the same after that!

Best of luck!

Hi, as i said, I've already bought a LCR splitter, and no, I havent gone for cheap tyres as my brother is a tyre technician, so that would just be silly!

Thanks,

Dion!

Bloody Hell, me and my speed reading.
Hopefully your brother can get you some cheap tyres then, Because I am silly enough to buy cheap ones.

Times were hard and I was broke!
Hope you find some free mods, I'm sure someone could even give you something for free that they didnt want!

Anything to help out a starting Seat Fan! But you've gotta stick with us!

Thanks,

Dion!

what about taking the I B I Z A off the boot lid and de-badging the front?

hi, forgot to say this, the rear is being de-badged aswell by the bodyshop, but mine doesn't have the I B I Z A on the back, it has seat in one side and ibiza in the other.
I don't like the look of the debadged front, i would buy one if the grills went the same way as the side one's though, but time will tell!!

Thanks,

Anyone got a tutorial about de-wipering a mk4 ibiza?

Thanks,

Dion!

Not sure about the wiper, but im sure there will be some info if you do a search. For the rear ariel, its anti-theft so when unscrewed, you realy need to pull it hard. The stubby ariels do look better but the radio reception is a little worse.

What rally car do you have? Ive been looking to get into rallying, but its too expensive!

Any photos of this?
Tried to get my aeriel off, but when i unscrewed it, it was still 'stuck'.
Anyone else has this?

Cheers,

Dion!

HID's for ~£40. One of the best mods I have done :)

I found that the radio reception was lost, so converted back to the orriginal ariel. Radio reception is more important to me than the looks of the ariel due to the number of miles I do.
