Ecp + engine diagnosis lights???

Hi all, RONAN from Ireland here,

haven't posted here before. But I'm hopefull of some advice.

I'm driving a 2005 Cordoba. The ECP and engine diagnosis lights have been coming on and off for a while now. Four days ago the car lost power, the diagnosis light began flashing and an alarming shiver came in to the car. The car's been cutting out on occasions. Usually when I'm reversing, slowing or stopping at lights.

Had a coil pack changed. The problem vanished for about 6 hours. Think the mechanic may have just canceled some codes after fitting the part. 70 euro for that.

Have been told a new EGR valve might be the answer. Parts & fitting, 250euro (Main Seat dealer)

Also, traction control button not functioning.

Help Help Help,

Headache getting worse
