Not sure about buying

Hi im thinking of buying an Ibiza mk3 with 278bhp and 300 + lbs torque, its running a stage 3 remap at 21 psi, is this safe? i don't no much about turbo cars.

Yeh i know, i remember him posting up asking about if he should buy it or not, and now about 2months later he is selling up. I do remember him saying he has owner ALOT of cars, so i think he maybe just gets bored very quickly

i did hear him saying he was abit worried about the high torque figures bending rods. But no one really knows how accurate the figures are. Apart from that when he bought it it did need some tlc, but it is a good car im sure. Has all the mods it should have to be a KO4 car.

Just look what happend to the last cheap high bhp ibiza, all ended in tears.

If things sound to good to be true they usaully are.

I think its priced about right. I dont think the torque figure is anything to worry about as I dont think its actually got that much. I think the dyno figure for torque is probably on the high side. If its a genuine reason for sale then theres no reason to think theres anything dodgy or wrong with it. If you want it then go and have a look and ask him the questions about why he's selling etc.
