I bought a set of Cupra R side skirts some months back and i've just started spraying them, i've noticed there is a screw either end that attaches them in the wheel are but there is nowhere along the sills to screw them too.

Whats the best way too fit these?

You can get the proper connectors for that from seat it works like a clamp on the sill lip this is the part number you will need 14 in total 7 each side 1M0 853 139 and this is the part number for the screws N 907 750 01 the screws come to about £3 for all 14 and the clamps are @ 80p each, they work like a vice the more you tighten the screw the tighter they clamp on to the sill.

The hole in the front arches should line up, the back ones definately wont so you'll need self tapping screws and maybe a speed nut on the back of the arch liner to hold that end in place.

PhillC, these connectors your on about, i'm presuming you have to screw them onto the sill? I may just Tiger Bond them if thats the case, i don't fancy putting any holes in the sills that may end up causing car cancer lol

I have this problem on mine too although they are not proper SEAT side skirts. They are just self tapped at either end of the wheelarch. There is a slight lip above the standard sill meaning passengers getting out of the car sometimes give it a good kick with their foot on the way out. Would like to get it fixed in the middle but dont want to use anything permanent like glue. I guess it's not a good idea to stick a self tapper in from underneath near the middle section as there seems to be a flap here, I've no idea what the self tapper would be going into though?
