Haha you muppet!

All winter when it's dark you don't get them, then when the light evenings are coming you buy HIDS.

Should be good though fella! :D

They look fit and reflect everything! It's well cool light. :)

it was a unplanned purchase

should help loads as i always end up driving mainly at night so should get a fair bit of use ;)

Good luck fitting the Hids! My Hids from hids4u were a right pain in the arse to fit! The rubber gromet (which seals the hole that you cut in the light cover) is so close to the bulb that there is no slack to play with....makes fitting the covers back very fiddily. I did take my bumper off and removed the headlights....not completly as I couldn't unclip the plug from the wiring harness to the light!

i took my sidelight bulbs out the other day to see how difficult they are to put back really there not that difficult just leaves you with slightly cut hands lol,how much were your 501s?

they were about £8.50 from HIDs for you as i used a discount code i know;)

Im planning on going all out and hiding the ballasts so i prob will not be using the grommets as im planning on running the wires out of the bottom of the cover

Ok guys, after a couple of hours messing about with the HID’s they are fitted in a very OEM fashion :funk:

First i removed the bumper and lights.

Then mounted the ballasts on the crash bar

Then in with the bulbs

Then i modded the cover to suit

Then once the cover was on i pulled the grommet through

I then fitted my LED side lights only to find one of them doesn’t work!!
So it one blue one yellow for now

Very smart mate! From looking in the engine bay you'd never know you had hids fitted.

What K are they? Mine are 8000k and look nowhere near as blue as yours...

fitted my led 501s todays and i found i had to turn round the bulb to get them to illuminate if that makes sence. did you try turning them round or moving the little wire bit?

hello, nice car i fitted my HIDS today as well 5000k and LED sidelights. Its not that one of you LEDs dont work its just that they have to be inserted the correct orentation, if it doesnt work take the LED out rotate it 180 degrees then plug it back in. and hey presto!! trust me i did the same thing lol
