That's exactly what is happening in real world ...!!! The VXR is more torquey than a LC (both in stock mode) and pulling seems harder with the former since its K04-turbo is smaller and pulls up faster than the K04-type turbo of the Cupra TFSI which is larger and has a relative lag below 3000rpm. However, with a remap (and even more with peripherals; full tb exhaust, intake, FMIC, fuel pump, etc) the Cupra becomes a monster of power (can reach 360-370bhp on stock turbo), while the VXR with all peripherals hardly surpasses the 300bhp barrier. Moreover, after 5500-6000rpm the VXR is not that fast, while the Cupra pulls hard up to the 7000+rpm limiter...

Mattwarcher, Mines around 310BHP from performance torque, paid i think around £300 and that was with pre and post dyno runs.....

I got my K1 done with Will at P.T to. I put her to 311bhp and it's fantastic. And your right the car sounds fat.

Heff 27, I have a K1 and want to remap it to the 300 bhp mark. can i ask where you got it done and how much it cost. live in south wales and was interested in going to a guy in Bristol to get it done. (revo) what do you recommend ????

I had my car Map at P-Torque with just 80 miles on the clock, the Figures are as follows
STOCK - 255 BHP - 232 fb/ft
REMAP - 306 BHP - 306 fb/ft
Nows she run in with 5k on the clock, she could be pushing a little more

I bet he wasn't amused, although I seriously doubt you would pull a S3 VXR's pants down in 6th @ 70mph somehow. Full beans then god yeah..You have a few mods up your sleeve don't you Blade?

Fraid not, the bike is a little quicker than my car but is still wrapped up in the garage until Spring arrives
A little quicker? My R1 would spank my Cupra's backside
If you don,t ride a Superbike its difficult to convey just how fast these things are. Might get mine out today as its dry here
