Quick question maybe a silly one too, do you think the gear knob from the new leon cupra will fit the LCR cos i think it looks quite nice i have been searching for the pics of the interior to the new cupra but havnt found one with the ger knob in although i have seen it before

i am intriged to about this.. they have some on ebay at mo that i like the look of..
was thinking on getting one.
hi all, i have fitted the mk2 FR gear nob to my Mk1 Fr! looks really good and was very easy to do. just fixed it straight on to my existing gator.

i also bought mine from ebay. about 30quid i payed. bargain i thought!

just how to take it off and fix it to your gator.
only thing i will say. the (use once clip) the metal one u take off. well there is no real need for it when putting on the new gear nob. just give it a frim push down and it doesnt move or anything.

What year altea dude, il take a look on the seat website.
The one i want is this one..
Says its for an altea 2004, did yours fit straight on without any modification ?
That's the one I have albiet a 5 speed one which doesn't bother me at all - i know where sixth gear is. Direct fit - the clip around the gaiter was a little tight though.
Yours off the 2004 altea dude ? thats the 6speed version just shows a 5speed picture.
Mine is starting to look tired & worn, fancy a change to the Mk 2 one as I think they look superb
