Hi guys, hope everyone is well and enjoying the new year so far! SO! I have just bought my Seat Ibiza Cupra TDi (PD 160)....i have no words to describe this car...seriously is a working piece of great engineering. I managed to pick it up for a great price, it's a 2004 registered with 52k on the clock with a full Seat service history. I have great plans for the car over the next coming months, so with the help of you guys i'm sure i wont find it hard to get it to the stage i want. Thought it would be nice to introduce myself to the family :) thanks for reading!!

Another Scot indeed lol! well the first mod i'm doing is the front splitter off the lcr, which i'll do on friday. Not too long after will my TDi mod be comming which should take it closer to 200bhp!! not intirely sure what it will take it to exactly but there abouts. from there take it slowly...

Welcome! I used to have the TDI Cupra..they are great cars.

What is the TDI mod you have? If it's just one of those resistor in a box things you plug in then you will get alot of other people also saying how bad they are for your car, and you are won't see near 200bhp from one! A remap is the only way :)

i will be going for a remap later on when i can get enough money together. My mate has the tdi mod in his mk4 golf 1.9tdi (the black box u plug in thingy lol)it made quite a difference to his and was recommended by him so...why is it not a good buy??

most tuning boxes are a cheap resistor that makes the car think it was more cold air, as a result more fuel is added, in the real world it means the car over fuels all the time. not good. save and have a remap
