yeahhh mine had two tubes that were attatched to the air box ... i just unplugged them.. and then it was a case of pullin the air box of the top of the engine.... theres some hoses in rediculas places on my car ... i think its daft tbh how its been built
you've got a 1.2 3 cyl (am i right ?) and hes got a 1.9 tdi 130 so the air box isn't on the top of his engine like yours is. just pointing that out to make sure he doesnt just go pulling away

just to check before i do mines! can you just disconnect the MAF plug without disconnecting the battery when you remove the airbox.
im never to sure when it comes to unplugging sensors ?

cheers makes sense doing it like that then!!! can that metal clip be re-used that holds the airbox onto the TIP ???
