loss of power

after say about an hour of driving i sometimes get a loss of power !
i have an LCR with a cc stage 1 remap done by jbs .
if then i turn it off and leave for about 10 mins its back to normal ! could this be down to heat soak ?
when it has a loss of power its like its running the standard 222bhp .
anyone else had this ? wouldn't of thought heat soak would of been a massive prob in this weather !

What do you have?
Car serviced regularly?
Have you had someone with VAG com check your car for fault codes?
What DV do you have?

Seems strange but heat soak has never bothered me, but it could be

Could be Limp mode

drive gently for an hour and see if it happens. also will gentle driving after the decrease eventually restore the power?

do you have a boost gauge?

sounds like its going into soft limp if its fine after restart.

car just been serviced .
i had the forge 007p when i bought it ! but thats ok (took it off and checked it over )
i have a k&n panel filter . the maf is new .

Could be Limp mode

thought limp mode reduced it to manifold pressure to reduce all damage ? this still has boost all be it reduced a little

its only done it a few times ! if it carries on i will shoot back to jbs and get them to check the map
